When looking at a school, you search for the right fit whether it is for student placement or a job position.  There is no perfect school, so the goal is to find one that coincides best with your beliefs and philosophy.  When the core values align, when the communication is open and reciprocal, when you can identify visible proof of success with students, when you have experienced happy students and dedicated staff, you have defined Sweetwater Episcopal Academy.

 

Sweetwater Episcopal Academy has a beautiful campus with access to Lake Brantley and welcoming shade trees.  Weekly outside lunches, outdoor class projects, canoeing and paddle boarding PE units, and occasional chapel services by the lake are all part of our school experiences.  Academics are designed to establish a strong foundation and then extend into advanced intellectual application of concepts.  Students are led to discover their world in ways that have significant meaning and they are encouraged to interact with peers, teachers and the community.  Enrichment classes of art, music, Spanish, religion and PE are part of students’ weekly schedule to foster individual interests and talents.

 

Schools are about people.  The most common compliment that we hear from visitors is that the students and staff are genuinely happy.  Character development is part of daily life with The Kind Zone philosophy.  We are here to support each other, to learn together, and to grow together.  Challenges in academic areas and social skills are approached with positive perspective to build individual confidence. 

 

Our students are given the resources and opportunities to define themselves as they prepare for their individual place in the world.  We are a beginning to their journey of development, helping them determine their life goals.  It is in these early years of crucial development that students develop attitudes, work ethics, and personal demeanor that will be carried throughout their lives.
