Upper School 4th Grade - 5th Grade

 

 

Upper School students at Sweetwater Episcopal Academy focus on applying their skills to explore learning more deeply.  They refine abilities in responsibility, decision-making, collaboration, and time management.  The curriculum in Grades 3-5 includes core subjects of Reading, Language Arts , Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Spanish. Exploration of personal interest areas is encouraged through the provided enrichment classes in Art, Library, Music, Physical Education, and Technology.  Students also participate in interactive Chapel services each Wednesday. 

 

Grade 4-5 students work with a departmentalized team of teachers and rotate classes each period of the day.  The program is designed to prepare students with the organizational skills and time management techniques required to be successful in their school career.
