Art at Sweetwater Episcopal Academy

"Colors . . . whirling around giving the world life! "

Traditional Art classes often involve an assignment related to a color wheel because the concept is identified as an essential objective. It can often be presented simply with students completing a sectioned circle with paint, crayon or marker. Miss Turner took it a step further to have students complete the task with a collage from different sources. Each student was able to create a color wheel that also included factors of individual interest. When they were displayed together on the art room bulletin board, they made an impressive display that stopped many who were passing by.
